Jonathan Dillon Rogers : Background

Mr. Rogers supervises the overall operation of McDillon Holdings, Inc. along with his partner, Mr. Edison. Together, they focus daily on seeking investment and development opportunities. In addition to those responsibilities, Mr. Rogers manages the design and development phases of McDillon’s projects and provides the financial analysis of prospective projects.


Upon graduating from the University of Vermont in 1983, Mr. Rogers began his real estate career at Coldwell Banker Commercial, now known as CB Richard Ellis, in the Manhattan commercial real estate market. There Mr. Rogers specialized in office leasing, assisting national and multinational tenants in their quest for new and additional office space. Drawing on his earlier high school and college experience, interning for architects and builders, and combining this with his experience working for CB, Mr. Rogers co-founded McDillon Holdings, Inc. in 1989. To date McDillon Holdings, Inc. and its affiliates have invested in and developed over 300 projects in Connecticut, including commercial, mixed use commercial, residential new homes, residential apartments and historic restorations.

Mr. Rogers has been very involved with housing and civic organizations, including the Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce. As Chairman of the Government Relations Committee for the Chamber, he was on the forefront of many pressing issues concerning economic development in the city of Bridgeport. Formerly, he served for two years on the Board of Directors of Bridgeport Neighborhood Housing and Commercial Services. Active with his church, Mr. Rogers is currently assisting the church through a capital campaign and major rebuilding project having in the past served on its Vestry and executive committee. He and his wife Monica have three children.
