Paul McEwan Edison : Background
President, Co-Chief Executive Officer/co-founder of McDillon Holdings, Inc.
Mr. Edison supervises the overall operation of McDillon Holdings, Inc. along with his partner, Mr. Rogers. Together, they focus daily on seeking investment and development opportunities. In addition to those responsibilities, Mr. Edison arranges the financing for the projects and oversees the management and maintenance of the completed projects.
Mr. Edison has successfully identified, acquired and financed over three hundred projects for McDillon Holdings, Inc. and its affiliates since 1989. He has directed the management, maintenance and disposition of McDillon’s investments, resulting in a consistant and dramatic increase in the net worth of the company.
Mr. Edison spent the early years of his business career with Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services in Manhattan, learning the analysis of financial statements, the negotiation of sales and lease contracts and the coordination of attorneys, engineers, architects and planning boards. He joined Mr. Rogers in forming McDillon Holdings, Inc. in 1989.
Mr. Edison is active in local non-profit and civic groups, including The Bridgeport Central Connecticut YMCA Board of Directors and The West End Association of Bridgeport. He has also served as chairman of the Bridgeport YMCA Revitalization Committee, The Park City Housing Council, The Neighborhood Revitalization and Reinvestment Task Force and The Bridgeport Rotary
Mr. Edison received a Bachelors in Economics from St. Lawrence University in 1984. In addition to economics, his studies included accounting, business, and marketing. He and his wife Molly have three children and reside in Fairfield, Connecticut.
